Student results - back after 20 years!

Watch Nikolaus playing Ah! Vous Dirai-Je, Maman from The Complete Classical Piano Course. Nikolaus purchased the course back in April 2020 during COVID lockdown after 20 years from playing the piano. Amazing!

"I played a bit of piano growing up but had not looked at a sheet of music for 22 years, and when the lockdown was imposed I thought I would never have a better opportunity to get back into it. I saw this course recommended somewhere online and I must say it contains everything I have needed to remind myself of the basics. The choice of repertoire is also great as each piece focuses on a different skill, and John has been very helpful, regularly checking in on my progress."

Student results - from beginner to 2 months!

Nathan only started 2 months ago and since then, he has the confidence to sightread new pieces of music - not even in the course! Listen to him play Einaudi's 'Le Onde,' without any other help apart from what he has learned so far in The Complete Classical Piano Course. Wonderful!

Note: The music 'Le Onde by Ludovico Einaudi is not in The Complete Classical Piano Course.

Student results - "I'm not exactly a complete beginner.."

"I'm not exactly a complete beginner, but I've felt like a beginner since I was 10 years old. 😂 When I was 10 I had piano lessons at a local music school, but I was terrified of playing in public and I had a very demanding teacher, so I quit after only 3 months... As a teenager, I tried to teach myself how to play using a learning software and a small electric keyboard, and I got my current digital piano in 1997. I had no study method and I was mostly learning how to hit the right keys at the right time. It didn't work out very well, and I was away from the piano for about 10 years. Then at the start of the pandemic, as I was spending more time at home, I decided to try once again. Tried almost every piano learning app there is and ran into the same problems: no method, no proper technique (my fingers got tired very easily), and I didn't even know what phrasing, dynamics or articulation was, so my playing sounded expressionless even to my own ears. Besides, most learning apps focus mostly on pop music and chord progressions and I wanted to learn classical. That's when I found out about the course. And for the first time, I feel that I'm making progress. 🙂 So it's really rewarding to get such positive feedback from you. Thank you again! Joana

#1 Video Diary of The Complete Classical Piano Course by Tony Bayliss

“I love the way I can dip in and out of the course when it suits my flexible 'professional holidaymaker' lifestyle. That sort of flexibility was my main reason for taking the course. It's great to be able to look back to check up on something that I might have missed or forgotten, without the stress of feeling that I'm imposing or taking up anyone's time but my own."

#2 Video Diary of The Complete Classical Piano Course by Tony Bayliss

“The material is remarkably detailed in its coverage of theory and technique. Each piece in the fourth volume is accompanied by detailed practice notes providing the sort of advice a teacher would give when studying the music.”

PIANIST MAGAZINE REVIEW - Feb-Mar 2019

"After trying quite a few online courses I found this course to be the least daunting way to learn classical piano and actually makes me want to pick the books up. It's so cleverly written that you can jump in and out and the online videos are great too! I'm excited for my progress! 5*"

"Initially I practiced every day but sometimes this isn't possible so the fact I haven't paid out for weekly lessons and I can fit the 'lessons' around my own schedule is a major plus.
